It is with passion that I perform this career that to me is a form of expression, a true form of art. As a Makeup Artist I get to work with many different clients for their special occasions such as weddings, bridal showers, graduations, quinceañeras, concerts, and photoshoots just to name a few. Every single person that I’ve worked with has a special place in my heart, the time I spend with each and every single one of my clients I am devoted to them; it is my belief that I am not only doing their makeup, I am boosting their confidence and self-esteem, their happiness for that event and its memories is in my hands.
Besides my freelance work as a Makeup Artist I am also the head Makeup Artist and Beauty Editor for ELITE Magazine Mexico www.elitemagazineonline.com where I write a beauty article, I do hair and makeup for the Cover, inside spreads, fashion and beauty sections. The beauty article for every issue which is complemented by a few makeup spreads related to the article and theme of the current edition. On top of that I am in charge of creating the image for the magazine’s main event, The ELITE Magazine Runway, working on 30+ models and the face for the publicity of such event.
I also collaborate with CIAO Magazine www.yosoyciao.com by doing hair and makeup for the cover and inside spreads. I would like to mention also that I work with Bubú, EuroMilan and Opera Lenceria retail stores south of the border where I do hair and makeup for some their publicity.
I can honestly say that the best reward of doing makeup is the satisfaction of my clients, their expression when my work is done and when I overhear a compliment of what I have created, that feeling is priceless. The love and admiration I get in return inspires me to continue doing what I love the most, to become a better makeup artist for them and for my self.
